Team Tournament Trail Info
The Ohio Bass Nation presents the first Team Bassmaster Championship Trail Event for 2019 on Alum Creek . This event will be one of 3 events that determine the Ohio Team Champion. This event is a two man team event. There is no official off limits other than what is designated below and to the Tournament Director’s discretion prior to launch. The rules for the tournament will mirror the Bassmaster Open Rules with Modifications. See the OBN Website for official rules. Each team is responsible for knowing the rules along with the laws in Ohio. Livewell checks will be conducted on the water, kill switches will be checked, and lights operational to launch. Safety must be observed. If your light does not work you won’t be able to launch until safe light or you get your lights working (whichever happens first). Fish Care is very important to the OBN and B.A.S.S, so please be prepared to exemplify the best fish care that you can to help ensure that no casualties will occur during the event.

Check-in Time: 5:00 a.m. – 5:30 a.m.
We need to have all boats in the water by 6:00 a.m. Official Sunrise is predicted at 6:02 a.m. Flight 1 – 6:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
Flight 2 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. (if required) Weigh in starts approximately 2:45 p.m.
Registration for this can be done on line at www.ohiobassnation.com or at the ramp by 5:00 a.m. There is a team membership fee of $20.00 if you decide to pay at the ramp and are not a member of the Team Bassmaster Championship Trail.

COVID-19 Guidelines for Team Tournament Trail
- No congregating at registration, weigh in or in the parking lot.
- Keep 6 feet of distance between others at all times.
- It is recommended that everyone wear some type of mouth and nose protection. Mask or Buff and gloves.
- If you are paying at the ramp, one team member should come to the check in table to pick up your entry form. Return to your truck and fill it out with your partner. Then, one member return to the check in table with your form and payment. Make sure you have exact change.
- Boat and live-well check will be done on the water. When your boat number is called, IDLE up to the launch boat with live-well lids open and pumps running. When asked, pull your kill switch. Restart your boat, IDLE past the launch boat and proceed with your day.
- At weigh in time you will stay at your boat until you are called by boat number. Only one team member should come to the weigh in scales. There will be 6’ spacing at the fish tanks. You must use your own bag. If you do not have a bag OBN will have some sanitized bags.
- Once you are called to the bump tank, dump your fish into the sink. If you have a fish to weigh for “big bass” place a clip in its mouth. Go to the scales. Once your weight is called, return to your boat and truck.
- Please remain with your boat and truck in the parking lot during weigh in. If you know your catch is not good enough for the day, you may proceed home and check results online.
- At the conclusion of weigh in, we will announce the winners one at a time to come to the trailer.

The Ohio Bass Nation presents the 2020 State Team Qualifier Event on Alum Creek. This is a 2 day event that will determine 16 spots for the OBN State Team. The top 8 anglers and co-anglers will make the 2020 state team. The rules for the tournament will mirror the Bassmaster Open Rules with Modifications. See the OBN Website for official rules. Each individual is responsible for knowing the rules along with the laws in Ohio. Livewell checks will be conducted on the water along with kill switches. Safety must be observed. Fish care is very important to the OBN and B.A.S.S., so please be prepared to exemplify the best fish care that you can to help ensure that no casualties will occur during the event.
Check in Required: You will need to check the OBN website for your partner and boat number. Each person is responsible for contacting their partner and ensuring they are ready for launch. Check in time 5:00-5:30 a.m..

- Pairing contact information will be posted online. Please call your partner to discuss safety and details for meeting up for the tournament. Please be safe and respectful of one another. I will not be chasing down pairing s the day of the tournament.
- AT THIS TIME, NO LANDING NET WILL BE PERMITTED FOR LANDING FISH.
- In the morning, come to the tournament trailer and check in. There will be no registration paperwork to fill out. When boaters check in, take your boat number from the board and only your number. Return to your boat and truck and put in the water.

April 2 OBN & Covid-19 Update
The Ohio B.A.S.S. Nation College tournament that was scheduled for April 25th at Alum Creek has been cancelled at this time due to the Covid-19 situation. OBN Board of Directors are working internally along with B.A.S.S. to re-schedule the event. We will post any new information as soon as it becomes available.

Latest Update on OBN 2020 Tournaments and COVID-19
Hello OBN Members,
We hope this message finds you and your family in good health. Below is an Update for our schedule as it pertains to the current COVID-19 situation. Currently, due to the COVID 19 virus all public gatherings in Ohio State Parks have now been cancelled thru April 15 including fishing tournaments.
Changes:
The Team Championship Trail Event #1 on Alum Creek on April 11th will be cancelled. This event will not be rescheduled and at this point The OBN Team Champions will be determined by the 3 remaining events. June 6th on Alum, Lake Erie (East Harbor) on July 11th, and Lake Erie Toledo on August 15th. For those that have already paid refunds will be send out immediately.
The OBN College Event on Alum scheduled for April 25th at this time will remain on schedule as planned: We will stay close to local authorities on this event and this event is subject to rescheduling based on current guidance from our State and Local Authorities.
The OBN State Team Qualifier on Tappan Lake that is scheduled for May 2nd is still on schedule as planned.
